Are you feeling down, anxious, angry or unhappy? My philosophy is that “life is too short” and that for all the bad, there is just as much good. Therapy helps one to start finding the good in life and making the necessary changes for that to happen. It is about learning new skills and trying on new ways of living. I feel that as a therapist, I become a coach, cheerleader, supporter and confidant. You have already taken the hardest step, and that is to admit that there is a problem and seek out help. I look forward to the journey.

I have been working as a social worker for the past 30 years in a variety of settings including mental health agencies, EAP (Employee Assistance Programs), colleges and a public school system. I enjoy working with all ages, from young children to adolescents and adults, doing individual, family and group work.

I am eclectic and pull from many theories and styles of therapy, but I primarily utilize CBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused therapy. I believe in a systems approach and make sure that we work with all aspects of life that might be affecting you.
