I am a therapist who specializes in helping people recognize and manage their personal power. I assist people in understanding the self through the lens of liberation-based healing practices and radical self-love. My therapeutic qualities include curiosity, collaboration, and compassion. I have a strong focus working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and immigrant communities.
CLINICAL INTERESTS: I enjoy working with adults (18+). My area of focus includes complex trauma, intergenerational trauma, religious trauma and spiritual abuse, self-esteem, depression, anxiety, examining oppressive structures and how they impact how one navigates the word, and racial identity processing.
CLINICAL APPROACH: I hold therapeutic space through an intersectional feminist lens. This approach highlights the various intersections that an individual defines their identities by. Applying this approach to therapy means that lived experiences and presenting concerns are examined and explained in the context of race, gender, power, cultural and socio-economic influences. I believe that the clients I collaborate with are the experts when it comes to their autonomy, rights, lived experiences, and their responsibility to make their own empowered choices. I use additional treatment modalities depending on client needs which include narrative therapy, dream-work interpretations, strength-based therapy, and somatic therapy.
Outside of holding space for others, I enjoy long walks outdoors with my Golden Retriever. I enjoy spending quality time with my partner, family, and friends. I am a frequent traveler and an avid reader. Movement and leaning into activities that support my overall well-being are my daily priorities.
