Welcome! I am a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) who firmly believes that each individual already holds everything necessary to pursue their healthiest and fullest life. I partner with people to discover, heal, and authentically express the many parts that make up their person. I collaborate with clients to build strong therapeutic relationships and a safe space of healing and self-discovery.
I work with children (4+), adolescents, and adults. I have significant experience with elementary through college-aged individuals and the LGBTQIA+ community. My areas of focus are complex trauma, including sexual and religious trauma; anxiety; depression; self-worth; mood disorders; gender and sexuality; and neurodivergence.
I consider clients to be their own expert and collaborate to build a treatment plan unique to each person’s needs and goals. I utilize an eclectic approach with a trauma-informed lens. I draw from multiple modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), narrative therapy, attachment theory, strengths-based therapy, and expressive arts therapy.
I am a queer-identified healer, artist, advocate, athlete, and misfit who enjoys running, nature, and time with my animal companions: Watson, Calvin, and Hobbes. Prior to joining Centered Practice, I was a school social worker, individual and group therapist at St. Olaf College, and a clinical case manager at Carleton College. I received my Bachelors of Social Work from St. Olaf College and my Masters of Social Work from the University of St. Thomas.
