Are you feeling like you could use a little extra support in your life? This is a great reason to start therapy. We all need a bit of extra support sometimes.
As a therapist, my hope is that you come to feel understood and safe in the therapeutic relationship. In our work together, I will help you to uncover your strengths and capacity to heal. Oftentimes this means slowing down, “getting out of our heads,” and connecting with other ways of knowing such as emotion or the wisdom of the body.
I enjoy supporting folks to unpack family of origin concerns and attachment patterns. I also work with folks to navigate anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I work with individuals ages 3 through adult, and especially enjoy working with young adults. I draw on a variety of modalities including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness strategies, and play therapy.
My training as a social worker grounds my practice and incorporates values of the worth and dignity of every person and the need for social and racial justice.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time outside, walking my dog, and trying new recipes.
I look forward to hearing from you!
